Rittal Company is located nearby
Incheon university and at the first two workers showed the video
introducing company to us. We can know how they have grown successfully
in the market and what they have as a vision ,making
productions. After watching it, they explained us about the enclosures
which is essential part of machinery and the related system and then we
entered the inner side of plant. It was quite well ordering, and
products are organized with the most efficient way.
The enclosure seemed simple, but every process needed so much delicate
efforts and they cared so much of maintaining the qualities. They said
it’s important to protect enclosures from any damage, exterior
conditions. The precision was the keyword. And it was
impressed that employees are properly informed of safety procedures.
There were many posters all over the factory about safety rules.
Rittal is a German company headquartered in Herborn. The company
manufactures electrical enclosures for use in industrial settings.
Founded in 1961, Rittal is a subsidiary of the Friedhelm Loh Group. The
name Rittal is derived from the places where the company
was founded – Rittershausen in Dietzhölztal.
Furthermore, Rittal
manufactures now in 13 plants, 3 continents. Among them the
Rittalshausen plant has the largest area, 45,000 m². They usually one
size of enclosures in Europe and they provide the standard(TS
8).
TS 8 enclosure, which can also be used as an IT rack. The Rittal
portfolio also includes a wide range of enclosure types, from small
cases and compact enclosures, through to entire enclosure systems.
Director Marc Kim said that especially the customers in Korea
have various demand. So they also give the service to customize.
Director Marc Kim and the Human Resource Manager answered many questions
regarding job application and qualification. They said English capacity
is crucial, since they communicate with coworkers in English and they
prefer people with experience, because they
are not affordable as if conglomerates invest the new employees and
especially the students in college of liberal arts have rare
opportunities, that we can apply for marketing or human resources
department. So before applying we must build up as much experience
as we can. At the end the manager gave us one tip, to get SAP
certificate. It’s used in a lot of foreign companies.
